"It was like she was just so small, like she was only made of paper, and he was just so strong, towering over her."
- I take my hat off to you. I don't know how you manage to write with such proficiency. I haven't reviewed your previous works and forgive me for that. But everything I have read so far completely blew me away. It is very powerful writing. I feel like I am watching everything. I love the way you express yourself, it's so clear. The thoughts come out well in a sequence a little difficult to digest, only making me eager to read the next line. The characters are beautifully complicated. The thought process of the characters is beautiful to read, the way everyone reacts seems so natural and realistic. Over time, you make us think that Gerard is so crazy that he's almost predictable. But all only to fool us again, by doing something none could have fore told. The more you read, the more addicted you become. I love the way you ended the previous one, a beautiful open ending. But the sequel was welcomed joyfully. Your writing truly inspires and makes me jealous. I realized I can only write if I am threatened. Writing with all the time in world is difficult and writing this well is a great feat. The great selection of words and the smooth transitions of thoughts and all these minor details makes the picture you paint masterpiece.
Author's responseI really need to thank you for the review. I am so flattered by what you said. I really am a little shocked even that someone would take the time to break down my writing and look at it from a technical point of view. It really does make me want to write more. I started feeling like I was losing my edge on this story but reading this made me want to write more, and get back into my old routine, so thank you so very much. If you write anything on here, I plan on checking it out. Maybe I too can get some inspiration.
