"Hey there" Ghoul said coming in, no jacket. "what he said was really messed, and he's all torn up about it." He said coming over to the edge of the bed and sitting down "i mean it's not like he really meant that he was going to shoot you, it's just that he doesn't like being disobeyed" Ghoul said trying to get a reaction. and failing "if it makes you feel any better we would have shot him if he shot you" Ghoul said getting a little more high pitched at the end "no" She said still staring at the wall "how are you feeling" He asked moving to the other edge of the bed to check her wound "Your healing up good" He said raising an eyebrow still waiting for a reply. he poked at the wound checking for infection, he got his reply "FUCK! just kick me while i'm down why don't you, it's OK because i screwed up and acted in the heat of the moment i'm scrutinized and i'm the bad guy, maybe he should have shot me, maybe the Drac should have gotten me in the head! or maybe i should grab my gun and shoot myself maybe that would be best for all of you, but don't worry you just have to bury me, i give you permission to keep my house. not like i'm worth much anyways, i'm a liability, and you guys are doing perfectly fine without me" Scat ranted tears starting to spring into her eyes, the shocked look on Ghouls face made her even more mad. "WHAT?" She yelled tears finally breaking the barrier.
"Is that what you think?" Kobra said from the door way "that you are a liability to us? i think we are the liability to you, you handled the situation way better than we did, we were scared and unprepared for the Dracs, you stepped up and let us formulate a plan while you kicked ass! you are not a liability you are a gift, and if you EVER think about suicide i swear to GOD i will punch you, i don't care if you are a girl, what my brother said WAS messed, and i don't support it, but he is tearing himself up about it, and it is apparently not just him, with both of you tearing yourselves apart we are running around like Dracs off drugs, it's just not healthy. I think he want's to talk to you but only if you want to talk to him" Kobra finished now at the end of the bed. Ghoul standing in the corner eyes wide and trying to edge out of the door without being noticed. "you can go Ghoul, Kobra, send him in" Scat said taking a deep breath and seeing a movement in the corner looking over to see Arrow "you always show up in the weirdest times" She said oblivious to the guys still in the room "i know, but i thought you might need me" Arrow replied getting into the bed "is this the bed i made?" He asked rubbing the covers "yea, i remember walking out in to the yard with the baby, and asked you what you were doing, you told me to cover my eyes and go back inside, i knew that's what you were making, i tried not to let you know the floor bothered me." She said more tears welling up and spilling over "don't cry babe, it's OK i'm happy, and i'm always with you" He said standing back up "no, don't go, i want you here" She said more tears falling "i love you" He said starting to fade "WAIT! i have a question, how is Dessey?" She asked a smile forming on her face
"She's just as beautiful as the day we left "He said smiling and grabbing an invisible hand "i love you too" Scat smiled blinking and seeing all of the guys in front of her. "what was that?" Ghoul asked sincere "what was what?" Scat said pretending to be clueless "um, you talking to the wall, who was Arrow" He asked hoping he didn't hit a nerve "oh, that" she said sadly "my Husband" She said a small smile on her face "and does this happen often?" Kobra asked getting into the conversation "no, well not anymore" She said tears starting to form in her eyes again "you don't have to tell us if you don't want to" Jet said coming over and holding her shaking hand "no, it's ok, you guys need to know." She said scanning the room, the only one not to talk yet is Party, he was standing in the back of the guys just observing "when i was twelve my boyfriend got me pregnant, and that was Arrow, i told him that i was pregnant on the last day, well sunset of normalcy, i was scared i was going to get kicked out of my parents house, little did i know that i had bigger problems ahead of me. he just said it was OK and that he was going to take care of me. the next day BLI came to my house and took my family, giving me the option of going or dying, i didn't want my baby to come out on pills so i ran, and so did Arrow i went to his house but BLI was there too, i saw him in back yard behind the bushes, i grabbed a can and hit him with it and he came over helping me run, we stole his parents car and went to the desert, we found an abandoned house, and started our new life, we had nothing except for me, him, the baby and the house. my dad used to take me to catch fish when i was younger, he said it was a talent passed down from generation to generation. not many people know of it, i found some poles in the garage when i was here, i meant to take them out and fix them up but i never got around to it, i miss it so much. i think that maybe i went out and fished that i might be able to find some closure. but anyways we lived off of the fish i would catch, i don't even know if the little lake is out there anymore, or if it has fish. but i like to hope. I went into labor on the floor in the middle of the night, i gave birth to a beautiful little girl, Dessert ray. She hated fish, i didn't know what to do, so i had to kill rabbits just for her to eat. But i didn't mind. So one day BLI found us and Dessey was about three, they shot Arrow right in front of her, she started to cry, they held me back while they shot her in the head. i don't think any amount of pain will be equal to that. They said "join or die" i chose Die, but they just left. i haven't fished since, and every time a see a rabbit i want to cry. I hope you guys aren't freaked, i'm sorry i didn't tell you earlier." She said finishing her story and she just took in their faces, the horror, despair, sadness, and guilt. "i'm so sorry" Party said stepping from the back of the group hugging her. A gasp of pain coming from her "oh god, i forgot i'm so sorry are you OK??" Party said ripping himself from her grasp and looking at her wound
"It's OK, so did i" She smiled looking at the red mess "it looks good" Kobra said taking the gauze all of the way off taking a look "ready to move?" He asked looking at her with the sad face still on "like i said, this might be the lesser of two pains" She said starting to inch forward, all of the guys had their hands ready to catch her if she fell. "guys, it'll be OK!" She smiled moving her feet to the floor and standing up. she started to scream, pain running through her body, everyone put their hands out, the grabbed onto the bed and almost passed out. "mommy" A little girls voice rang out "Dessey?" She said stepping away from the bed towards the voice "mommy, help" She said sounding distressed "DESSEY!" She screamed "mommy, i miss you, come get me" She said "Mommy's coming honey" Scat said starting to fall "SCAT!" A loud voice came from beside me "no, baby, i'm coming, they won't hurt you!" She said starting to cry "Scat listen to me, it's OK, stop moving, you have ripped out your stitches, stop moving." Kobra's voice came through. i stopped moving "mommy" the voice came through softly "no, it's not you" Scat said feeling herself being lifted up. "Mommy, it is too" The voice came out of the corner, i saw her in the corner, i got up and started towards the corner just to be lifted up again. "please, they are hurting her. please!" Scat said fighting her way out of the arms, the pain was excruciating. she heard a shot, the girl was bleeding, just like that day, Scat went to grab her, she disappeared, arms went around her, she opened her eyes finding the guys all on the floor with her, hugging her. "it'll be OK, it wasn't her, it was the pain" Party said helping her to the bed "she was so close" Scat said her eyes empty.
