What Do You Want From Me?

You called me fat,
So I starved.
You called me large,
So I purged.
You called me a geek,
So I failed.
You called me loud,
So I muted.
You called me spoilt,
So I refused.
You called me childish,
So I grew.
You called me attention-seeking,
So I left.
You called me perfect,
So I rebelled.

You called me skinny,
So I binged.
You called me anorexic,
So I cried.
You called me stupid,
So I gave up.
You called me quiet,
So I disappeared.
You called me deprived,
So I nodded.
You called me dead,
So I died.
You called me alone,
So I cut.
You called me a wreck,
Fucked-up,
Worthless,
Little shit,
Jump in front of a bus,
Go slit your wrists, little girl,
You said,
So I did.

A/N: I've had that stewing in my system for a fair while now, I guess you could call it more of a vent than poem so sorry for boring you with something you probably didn't want to read.

Anyway, thanks for reading and please let me know what you think/how to improve.
