Stefan closed his bedroom door behind her and leaned up against it, folding his arms with a deep breath. Saff watched him warily.
“Ash knows” she said, annoyed. Stefan nodded,
“yeah, he knows. But i’m just his bestmate, not his mum or conscience, i can’t tell him what to do…” she looked down at her hands, Stefan tilted his head back, “where’s your-”
“prison” she mumbled. He sniffed and pushed off of the door, nodding to the bed,
“sit down” she did, slowly and then the door burst open, Stefan looked over his shoulder, it was Sky and Oliver,
“we’re busy” Stefan said, Oliver smirked at Saff, he wasn’t half as drunk as Sky, in fact, he was practically sober. Meaning he’d remember seeing her, in Stefan’s bedroom. He smirked at her,
“Hey, didn’t you-”
“out!” Stefan said sternly, the guys smirk turned into a grin as he shut the door. Stef turned back to face Saff, she was stood up now, shaking her head,
“i’m gonna go, i’ll-” she shrugged, “i’ll speak to you at college or something but seriously, i’d rather not people think something happened between us” he stood in her way for a few seconds and then nodded, stepping aside,
“yeah. I understand. Do you want me to call you a taxi?” she shook her head again,
“no, i don’t live far. Thanks anyway” she opened the bedroom door and left before he could say anything else. No sign of Ash on the way out.
“You okay?” Jade asked when Saff walked in, dumping her keys on the coffee table, she sighed and sat down on the sofa,
“why does everyone keep asking that?” she asked, Jade shrugged,
“maybe because you look like you’ve been slapped with a dirty nappy?” that got a smile from Saff and Jade grinned, “seriously, what’s up?” Saff shook her head, fiddling with her hands,
“nothing. Other than the Ash thing everything’s… Fine. Just fine” Jade watched her carefully,
“well… Okay, if you’re sure. You know where i am if you want to talk” Saff smiled gratefully and stood up,
“yeah. Thanks. I’m gonna go to bed, night”
“night.”
