Wakka reflects on why Lulu could never love him.
- OW. Cold slap of reality, and this is exactly why I have my misgivings about the scenario in X-2 You are masterful with painful, apt phrases.
Suggestions to ponder: everything you're saying is absolutely spot-on true and could well be exactly what poor Wakka's thinking, but a) you might try expressing it in his own words, more, his own unliterary way of phrasing, and b) let the deeds speak for themselves a tiny bit more, ease the writer commentary. (Example: "With great personal strength..." seemed just a bit unnecessary to me.)
But those are fine-tuning and very subtle tweaks, and my own opinion-- I really like your writing and your insight and your angst! Poor Wakka.
