JULIUS' POINT OF VIEW:

It was about 8 o' clock in the afternoon. The sun was slowly setting down. I went into Delilah's room, expecting to find Delilah. We were like each other's shadows. We were always together. It was akward I didn't know where she was. I knocked on Delilah's door. When no one answered, I opened the door. She wasn't there. I cursed under my breathe. I noticed there was a note, neatly folded on her bed.

I'm not the snoopy type, but when it came to Delilah...I guess she was specail. I always wanted to bethere for her, but never got to tell her. Maybe someday I will. I unfolded the note. It was a poem. I read it in my mind:

I've been waiting here
Waiting for you
You don't feel the same way I fear
I don't know what to do

I've been waiting for you for so long
But I can't wait much longer
My heart can't take it
So I'm giving up on you

I tried to give you signs
That I want to be more than friends
But you don't see them, you must be blind
This is the end

I've been waiting for you so long
But I can't wait much longer
my heart can't take it
so I'm giving up on you

I'm falling here
I'm crying here
All I feel is my tears
Dissapointed tears

I've been waiting for you so long
But I can't wait much longer
My heart can't take it
So I'm giving up on you

I'm giving up on you
My dear Julius Chavelier.

Julius' jaw fell. So she did feel the same way! Julius ran all over the academy, trying to find Delilah. He found on outside on a hill. Julius sat beside her. He put the note in her lap. Without a word, Delilah opened it. Her eyes got big. She quickly ripped it into pieces.

"Why were you in my room?" asked Delilah angerly.

"I was looking for you," I told him. "I want you to know I feel the same way."

I went to pull her in a hug, but Delilah pushed me away. I was hurt.

"Julius, we can't be more than friends." She told me. "What if it hurts our missions? Hurt our friendship? That's why I wrote that note."

I thought for a moment. She was right. Maybe we should just be friends.

"Friends?" She asked me.

"Best friends," I told her.

We gave a friend hug.

JUST FRIENDS. No more waiting.

THE END
