It was strange wearing a school uniform again; an outfit that was repeated by the dozens of boys on their island and reflected in the girls as well. Walking down the hallway admist the normal chatter of his classmates still sounded off to his ears.
It was only at lunchtime that he could escape the questions and looks. Where he could shimmy up to the higher branches of a tree (helped with gliding, of course) and eat lunch with Riku.
Riku knew what he was going through--both of them were behind, Riku making a joking remark about how there 'wasn't much of Island history in the World that Never Was.' Sora had to agree that while Donald tried to teach him at odd intervels between fighting and running for their lives, it wasn't exactly a straight foward education.
But with Riku beside him and both of their gazes turned towards the faint gleam of sun on water, he felt normal again.
