Sora didn't sleep peacefully, Riku noted absently. His brow scrunched up and he rolled over in the bed, mumbling under his breath. Sometimes he reached out for something and sometimes he whimpered.
Riku thought that Sora would sleep like he did when Namine restored his memories. But maybe he only slept that way because he had no memories to distort his sleep and now everything was coming back to him.
Sometimes Sora muttered names that had only been heard among the members of the Organization and sometimes he just called up for Riku. At these times, Riku would hold Sora in his arms and sooth the worry from his forehead and relax the tense body once more.
Riku watched Sora sleep because he was afraid to face the nightmares alone.
