Hey guys! I am back and I'm adding a chapter again so please read it! :D
Chapter 2
Clarisse POV
As I walk through the hallway I still can't help but feel at awe of something so shiny and big. I know that I'm used in living in a big house after all what do you expect from the daughter of the Sakura family on of the biggest and richest people around and of course being related to the Yui family is also a big thing. As Katie, Raven and our other best friends talk I look to see every picture we pass by looking in awe at them. I can't help but see the paintings full of details but stopped at a very odd one it was a picture with 6 no 7 people, men to be exact they were looking somewhere but almost as if looking at the girls and I. I felt a shiver on the back of my neck and I turned and ran to catch up to the girls wanting to get rid of that feeling. As I caught up to them we were at the door of the dining room.
I entered it along with my friends and gave my aunt Princess and my uncle Jeff a hug greeting them in a polite but comfortable way.
"Aunt Princess and uncle Jeff, how have you been this week?" I asked greeting them smiling.
"Hello, Clarisse it's been a week since you have visited us." Aunt Princess said smiling gently at me hugging before pulling back.
"Yes auntie, it's been a week but with all that's going on with school we haven't had time to do anything because we needed to study for our exam." I said politely.
"Ahh. Exams always so hateful." Uncle Jeff said in a thoughtful.
I laugh as aunt Princess hit uncle Jeff's head before nodding."Yes, all teenagers hate them." I smile before flinching as aunt Princess glared at me. "But some people like them such as Katie, Raven, my other best friends and I." I said continuing not wanting to face my aunt's wrath.
Aunt Princess nodding before turning her head toward Raven greeting her next.
I turned my head as I see Katie talking with our other friends and then turned and saw someone who I have missed so much. I ran toward Grandma Tess smiling bright and stopped waiting for her to be done talking to with Lou another best friend of ours.
As they finish talking I walked to grandma Tess and greeted her. I also hugged grandma Tess smiling as I haven't seen her in a very long time. "Grandma Tess! How have you been? It's been almost 2 months since I last saw you." I said happily hugging her one more time.
"My dear, Clarisse how much you've grown!" Grandma replied in a bright voice hugging me back.
"Grandma, it's been two months. I don't think I'll grow that much in two months." I said pulling back from the hug.
"You and your cousins are so much alike. But I know that you have grown much more than you think you did." She replied but I couldn't help but think of how mysterious the last sentence she said.
As I was about to ask her Raven interrupted me, "Grandma Tess, you never told me you were gonna go here next." She said in a surprise voice.
"Yes, but you had left to pick up your friend and so you missed me saying how I'll visit Katie next." Grandma replied in a warm comforting voice smiling at Raven as she gave her a hug as well.
"Oh, I see. Well I guess it's nice to see you again even though I just saw you 5 hours ago." Raven replied in a jokingly manner.
Grandma laugh before greeting my other friends.
I stare at my grandma before Katie went towards me asking with concern, "Clar? Are you alright?"
I smiled at her and replied, "I'm alright. I just felt tired Kat."
"Alright...if you say so Clar." She said hugging me a little before smiling. "Now let's go before my parents start to tell more baby stories about me." Katie said in a nervous tone.
"Yah lets go." I laugh quietly before taking her hand and dragging her toward our other best friends. "Aunt, uncle and grandma, we'll see you later for dinner." I said in a polite voice before hugging each one of them heading toward the door along with my best friends. I couldn't help but notice how auntie, uncle and grandma looked at each other as if they were talking with each other's eyes. I shrugged and follow out the door thinking of one name Chris before shaking my head wondering where that name came from.
I walked with my other best friends my mind full of questions but not before Lou shook me out of my thoughts and falling behind beside me.
"Clar, what's wrong you've been distracted since we left the dining room." Lou asked in a sisterly concerned voice.
I smiled at Lou before holding her hand, "I'm fine Lou. It's just a weird feeling that I felt but it soon disappeared." I said in a tone hoping to not make her worry anymore.
"Alright, if you say you are then I'll believe you. But let's talk later with the others so they won't worry about you anymore." Lou said in a hesitant voice but smiled. "Now come on. The others are waiting for us we don't want them to get worried about us." She said in a sarcastic tone before dragging me with her.
I laugh as I got drag by her but not before pushing my questions in the back of my head waiting until night to tell them to my best friends who I trust forever.
