I really liked the imagery of Ryou in the pool, enclosed in water while Yugi watched anxiously. I don't want to say this is OOC, but I haven't seen Ryou this depressed in the canon, so I expect you'll give us a plausable reason for his desire to "drown" in the next chapter when you develop the plot more.Author's response

Yeah, even though it only got so many reviews on ffn, it was on the favorites lists of a ton of people who emailed me wondering why the hell I took this and LAPAS down. It's the writing you arrogant piece of shit learn to take some criticism such as that instead of sidetracking and making up excuses.
By the way, all of those people that said that on FFN are your friends NO SHIT they're going to say it's amazing. No friend is going to say "That fucking sucks go kill yourself and never write again".

I guess I'm a bit slow on the uptake but still felt like reviewing even if this never gets read.
I got a strong overall picture of Ryou's mental instability and Yugi's need nurture and protect him, but there weren't enough details complete the puzzle so to speak. It could be that I'm missing something obvious but did you ever give an explanation of how Ryou lives through his drowning episodes? That was really the only thing that caught me up. Either way I enjoyed reading and hope there will be continuation.
