Archie stared in shock on his calender. On the 27th of February (my birthday), he saw two diamond rings, that he drew so he won't forget, crossing each other, meaning that that was their anniversary. He stared with his eyes wide open and his mouth dropped "Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God! How coud I be so stupid?! How could I forget our one year anniversary?! Oh God, I'm in trouble! I need help!" He was panicing so much that he took his pillow and yelled in it and he kept banging his head on the wall. Now that he remembered, Atlanta still probably didn't want to talk to him, even if he told her he remembered. "I know. I"ll go ask Theresa for help." So thats what he did.

"Theresa! Theresa!" He called out her name. Turns out that she left for the mall with everyone else. "Oh shit! I'm in so much trouble!" he diceded to call Theresa on her PMR. He dialed her number and waited for her answer. "Come on, come on" He quietly said. Then finally,

"Hello?" Theresa answered.

"Hello? Theresa? I have a HUG problem and I really need your help!"

"Whats your problem?"

"I forgot me and Atlanta's one year anniversary and I just remembered but its probably too late. She probably hates me and never wants to see me again and..."

"Archie calm down. Now I have a question. How could you forget your one year anniversary? This is Atlanta we're talking about. I mean, didn't she give you any clues or something to remember you?"

Flashback

It was a week before Archie and Atlanta's on eyear anniversary and Archie were walking down the park with Archie's arm around her waist and her head on his shoulder. While walking, Atlanta gave him a peck on the cheek and said, "Archie, do you remember whats coming up on Thursday?" She asked sweetly.

Archie thought for a moment think, 'Thursday. Thursday. Whats coming up in Thursday?'. Then he answered, "Oh theres a hockey game on Thursday."

Atlanta frowned. "I know that and I'm excited about it too, but something else is coming on Thursday." Atlanta knew he was forgetful but she didn't know he was careless.

"No what?" He asked, kissing the top of her head.

Atlanta sighed in sadness and said, "Nothing. Nothing really big." Then she quietly said, "Just our one year anniversary."

"What was that babe?" Archie asked.

"Nevermind. Let's go home."

End of flashback

"Oops." Archie said. He felt so bad once he remembered. Words couldn't even put how bad he felt and how mad he was at himself.

"You're in trouble." Theresa said.

"Thats why I need yourhelp. Our anniversary is coming up tomorrow(see why you shouldn't procrastinate?) and I haven't gotten anything for her yet."

"I'll help you, but not now."

"Please Theresa! I really need your help! I don'tknow what ot get her!"

"I really would like to help but I can't. Me and the rest of the gang are shopping and won't be back for another 2 hours. Sorry and good luck." Theresa hung up.

"Great. Theresa can't help me right now and I can't ask Atlanta what she wants because she'll just yell at me. Oh Lord, what do I do?!" He was really miserable. He was walking around his room thinking of ideas. Sports equipment? No. Thats what she likes for her birthday or Christmas and its not really anniversary material, besides she has plenty of that. Jewelry? It could work. But she doesn't wear jewelry, but that doesn't mean she doesn't like it. She probably doesn't wear it because its too expensive and fragile for her to wear it all the time like her earrings. He didn't have enough time to think about it so he decided its going to be jewelry but he needed Theresa to help pick something out for her and something really special. Maybe a diamond ring, or a diamond necklace, or maybe a necklace with her birthstone on it, a sapphire (thats not my birthstone. My birthstone is an amethyst I just like sapphires better). That would probably be good. So since Theresa couldn't help him at the moment, he would justlook around a jewelry store and ask th employee to save this certain necklace or even better, buy it right then and there. So he went to the jewelry store an dlooked aroiund for the perfect piece of sapphire jewelry. He was aboiut to choose one until an employee asked,

"Can I help you?"

"Huh? Oh ya. Um. My girlfriend just broke up with me and I need to get her back so..."

"Oh I'm so sorry!" She gasped. "How long have you two been going out?" She asked.

"Um. About a year. Our anniversary is tomorrow. Somehow, I forgot and I just remembered this morning." He told her. He didn't know hwy she wanted to know how long they were going out. It was none of her business.

"I don't know how you forgot either. We have the perfect thing for you. Come. Come. Follow me." She said.

Archie didn't question her, so he just followed her. There was a special section in the store for anniversaries. He thought all th ejewelry was beautiful, but for Atlanta, they just weren't beautiful enough. Because she deserves the best piece of jewelry they have. The main gem has to be a sapphire of course.

"Now tell me. What is your girlfriend's birthstone?" She asked.

"Sapphire."

"We have just the thing to bring back the lucky girl's heart." She said sweetly.

Archie smiled and followed her. There he saw at the desk was all sorts of expensive, beautiful jewelry.

"Wait here." She ordered him.

Archie obeyed and just looked around. All this stuff was absolutaly beautiful. He saw all sorts of sapphire jewelry. The hard part is which one to get. His temprorary browsing was interrupted when,

"Here. This outta get your girl back." She said.

Archie couldn't believe his eyes. Was this necklace real? It was so beautiful. It had a saphhire the size of a fingernail, hanging in the middle, with three diamonds on each side that were half the size of the sapphire and it was all on a gold chain (imagine that in your head).

"That is perfect! Thank you!" He said. This had to get Atlanta back. If it didn't, he wouldn't know what else to do.

"That'll be $425, please." She said.

Holy crap! Four hundred and twenty-five dollars for that! Oh well, its actually a good price. The sapphire, the diaonds and the gold chain were all real. He looked in his wallet and brought out his credit card. She took it and swiped it on the cash register and Archie punched in the numbers of his pin number.

"Would you like this specially wrapped?"

"Yes please."

She took the necklace and went to the 'employees only' door and had it specially wrapped. It was in a white box with a red bow that was wrapped under it, around the sides and it was tied in a bow at the top.

"Thanks." He said as he took the box and left.

"Wait!" She yelled.

"Ya?"

Her smiled went down a little bit and said in a more serious tone, "Good luck."

He smiled in thanks and walked off. He really needed that good luck, in fact, he wished the whole world would wish him good luck. He really needed it. He got on his motorcycle and drove back to the dorm. It was getting late and everyone was asleep. He quietly opened and shut the door, trying not to wake anyone. He tiptoed upstairs to his rom Before he got there, he stoppped by Atlanta's door and peeked inside. Thankfully she was asleep. He thought, 'Maybe I should put it on her desk once I'm done wit the letter.' He then thought for a mioment, 'Nah. I"m gonna wait until tomorrow and give it to her.' He quietly closed her door. Once he got ot his room, he hid the box under his pillow and silently prayed that Atlanta would forgive him and they would be dating again. He just couldn't stop now. He spend four hundred and thirty bucks on that necklace and didn't want to quit now. He decided to wait and give it to her tomorrow night. He had a romantic way of giving it to her. He just hoped he would accept it.

Finally! That one is done. Sorry it took me so long to update, I didn't really get a chance to. So R&R and stuff.
