Julius' POV
"I don't deserve to be her partner or incharge of anyone elses saftey" I said trying to push past Al.
"Julius man, I know you think it's your fault but you will hurt Delilah even more if you leave than you ever could with broken bones, you'd break her heart" Al said before stepping away from the door
"it's your choice man but if you leave I will have to tell her" he said
"I know she may be hurt for a while but she'll be better in the hands of someone else, I'm not good enough" I said before heading out the door.
Delilah's POV
I was in my room doing my math homework when I heard a knock on the door. I quickly got up and answered it hoping it was Julius. I opened it to find a depressed Al.
"Al whats up?" I asked ushering him to sit on the bed. We sat down,
"I don't know how to tell you this man" he said looking down
" tell me what?" i asked with concern in my voice
"it's Julius man, he's left the academy" he said before I asked with tears in my eyes
"why?"
"he thinks it's his fault your hurt and that he doesn't deserve to be your partner. I burst into sobs. Al held me in a hug, before long I had cried myself to sleep. I awoke about an hour later and burst into tears again
Julius POV
"crap I forgot my wallet" I quietly snuck back into the academy, just as I was about to go into my former-room I heard sobs coming from Delilah's room. I put my ear to the door and heard her
"why Julius why? It's not your fault" she cried to herself. I thought for a minute and I put my hand on the knob...
