Ray passed Frank the last of the bags, and he loaded them. Emma came down the stairs carrying snacks, she pushed her back at the door and opened it slowly. Mikey came to her side; grabbing a bag they walked to the van.
"So, were going Calgary?"
"Yep."
Gerard took a deep drag of his cigarette and then turned to Emma. She smiled lightly.
"New Jersey to Alberta."
Ray looked to Gerard, then he moved into a long hug with Emma. Bob honked repeatedly at the horn.
"Come on you guys!"
The gang climbed in puling the doors shut they waved goodbye to Toro's apartment. Emma settled in next to Ray. Frank whistled loudly but was cut short by Bob who'd inadvertently smack him.
Gerard began to giggle,
"This is going to be great."
