A guide for the cluless husband.
- Oh my! I dearly loved that chapter. I was giggling out loud. Lucky mum was outside otherwise I'd have had a bit of a mess on my hands. lol.
Right, Liz, not Eliza, got it! I didn't even know the girl has fans.
MORE MORE MOREEEEEE :D
Author's responselol i know the syndrome, silly parents think it's weird to laugh at the screen, psh it's not...i think...yeah...
- Okay I LOVE this chap! This is like your classic comedy style crap and I LOVE IT! (Which makes me worry cause the funnier it is the more down you are) :(
But maybe a nice review will cheer you up?
This was soooo funny on so many levels. First the Billy thing. BAH on G for even bringing that up. But yay for you. I love how youre weaving the past in like that with like the Billy/cutting references and even the 'sunshine' nick name! It gives it a very realistic feel. Cause thats how it is in life, your past follows you like that. Anyway
THE EVIL LAUGH! Ah! that was so funny! shes like Im waiting for the lightning behind you! hahahaha! I think I like that bit more then the frozen food masturbation line!
And then the whole chair/cherry tattoo. Ah I gotta stop otherwise Im just gonna fucking cut and paste the whole chap in here.
But moving past the comedy factor. I think it shows another level to their relationship. Like I cant believe that G didnt demand that like Sky show him her arm! In one way it makes me think like oh he doesn't care for her cause isnt that what you do when you love someone? smother them to death? lol. But then on the other hand it shows how much he trusts Frankie with her. (Id love to see him let her go off with Bruce though lol)
Its a weird dynamic, having a relationship in a group like that and I think youre portraying it well.
And skys starting to have a drinking problem no?
Author's responseoh yeah i think it's weird, it's like gerard is not her only boyfriend.
but the guys take care of her on so many different level, like when gerard can't or won't, there will be always someone to make sure she's OK.
- i think gerard grabbing her arm showed just how much he does care for her..
i mean, maybe he didn't handle like he should've but he was clearly upset about it.
but then again, i wonder if the guys are ever gonna trust skyler again. as sky said, she can't be sad without being self destructive. if she's got a little scratch or something they guys are all over the place and that can't make sky feel trusted. which is bad.
i liked his tattoo speech so much, i gotta write that down on a piece of paper and slip it inside my mom's bible.
or more like the vogues and cosmopolitans some girls in my class read. (can't believe i know the names of those magazines)
they think tattoos are um.. "HAAWWT" oh well. none of my business.
but go frankie! tattoos really should have a meaning, like on a deeper level cause they won't look so fucking "HAWWT" when you're 67 but the meaningful tattoos are still meaninful no matter how old you are.. ok i'm done.
i should stop talking about stuff that doesn't really have anything to do with the chapter haha..
it was a great chapter by the way. i hope they will get the tattoo fixed. and if they will, i wonder if gerard's ever gonna find out that the tattoo hasn't always been like that. i bet he will. i wonder if he's gonna freak if and when he finds out.
i think he will, especially if he also finds out sky was wasted when she got it done^^
Author's responselol i totally agree about what you said about the tattoos not being hot but meaningful...but of course you already know it cause I've put in the story...
- That was so funny, it was nice after the last chapter which was sad.
You do write comedy really well, you are really talented to write both comedy and drama so well.
I loved that Gerard didn't force Sky to show him her arm, it kinda shows that he respects her. It would've been quite funny if he had seen it though!
The Gerald bit made me giggle as well! Makes him sound like an 80 year old man!
And I love how you write drunk people! You make them seem funny and realistic, without going so over the top that it becomes unbelievable. But I'm worried now, Sky has a drink problem? Ok, maybe I am just a little too obsessed with this story when I start worrying about the characters! But I guess that means that your writing is amazing to make me feel like they could be real people, if that makes sense!
I hope the stuff that hopeanne said about you being sad wasn't right. :-( Hope you are feeling better soon.
Author's responseoh i'm better now, i ran out of coffee so i was very down these past few days...but you'll be happy to know that my coffee and peace are back!
