I woke up later in the morning, and looked around and noticed Winnie was closer and my arms were still entwined around her while she rested her head on my chest. I gazed out the window, yawning at the cloudy gloomy day outside the thin spread of glass. I closed my eyes; Winnie stirred innocently. I quickly turned when I felt a hand shaking my shoulder rather hard. I turned around to see Jon wide eyed with a funny expression.
“Dude, Brendon, I’m not sure if you know this, but um there’s a girl in your bed”
“Yea, so?”
“Oh… So she’s with you then?” he asked confused “but it’s like a girl… With you!”
“Jon……Jon….,” I said trying to cut him off his annoying rambling “Jon!”
“But I mean it’s all crazy ‘cause we- what?”
“You left your star bucks coffee grounds at home again didn’t you?”
“No! Maybe! Ok yes, but so?” he said looking down
“Yea it’s obvious”
“Oh, so you’re judging me now are you?”
“Yes, yes I am now move so I can get down” as Winnie began stirring once again from the noise.
Jon abruptly pointed to the mini kitchen in the other direction and whispered something like ‘ima go’. Then he let his feet carry him away as Winnie’s eyes opened slowly
“Good morning” I said to her finally standing up next to the bunk
“Why hello there, Um I…. am…. In your…. bed”
“Yes, and I see nothing gets past you”
She giggled and I smiled. It was cute.
“You should meet the guys, now that they are awake”
“All right” she said quietly
She walked quietly behind me as I lead her into the kitchen; Ryan and Spencer choked when they saw her walking behind me and both shouted
“There’s a girl here?!”
“Stupid’s!” Jon remarked without looking up “I was just telling you that”
“Naw-awe”
“Oh well, I’m telling you now. There is a girl on the bus”
We all rolled our eyes but I continued “this is Winnie, um, she’s going to chill with us I guess”
“Okay?” Spencer said half annoyed half surprised
Jon spoke up yet again “psst, Brendon, Brendon!”
“What now?”
“I’m not sure if you know this but, she’s in your underwear” he whispered loudly
Ryan laughed as he realized Jon wasn’t lying.
“Yes, thank you, I had no idea” I said sarcastically right back.
Winnie quickly dodged behind me again and back into the bathroom and Spencer spoke out too
“Dude, what did you do to be so lucky? No just kidding but does she even know who we are?”
“I… do… not know”
Ryan choked on his cereal again “wait so she has no idea we have mad skill-age and are wanted by many ladies?”
“Again, I do not know”
“foo’ what do you know these days dawg? You just goin’ freaky” Jon blurted.
“Yes thank you gangster Jon, and as if. I know more than you do so ha!” I said sticking my tongue out at him; he mimicked me stupidly.
Ryan started pouting and whined “but, but we were supposed to go to the mall today Brendon!”
“I don’t see why we can’t go?”
“Fine, what ever, Brendon, but you are in or it now.”
“What the heck are you-“
“You’ll see”
“Dude, Brendon, I’m not sure if you know this, but um there’s a girl in your bed”
“Yea, so?”
“Oh… So she’s with you then?” he asked confused “but it’s like a girl… With you!”
