They go in.

BRAWLY: .... falls over dead

ASH: Who are you!?

VOICE: I am Carl 'CJ' Johnson! And I got some good fightin' Pokemon! Go Machamp!!

Ash and... CJ do battle. Ash loses.

ASH: What!? I gotta win! I'm the Pokemon Master!

They battle again. Ash wins.

CJ: Crap! Here's a badge, idiot.

They go to Granite Cave.

STEVEN: There is no Granite Cave. Some large Pokemon farted and caused a huge cave-in.

MAY: Oh. Okay!

STEVEN: Yeah, see you again.

They set sail for Slateport.
May will enter a Contest there.
And hopefully there are no PokeFarts to cause cave-ins!
