The Kazekage recognised Hiruko from his groggy state and took him a while to realise he had been made into a puppet. He thought for a second his assassin had been bought to justice, but was very disappointed when he saw it was being controlled by Sasori. Then he realised what Sasori had in store for him, “You turn people into puppets-that is monstrous.” Sasori was still in pain but he still wanted to make sure he could face the Kazekage and talk to him as best he could. “You might want to get used it.” The Third seemed to get very depressed at that moment and it was as if he had died for a second time before the poison had physically killed him. He only held on for a short while longer before the poison took its toll and he died a very painful death.
Sasori made sure he was really dead this time and used Hiruko to carry the Third’s body inside his wide frame that would serve as a protective puppet for himself in the future. This way he could openly transport the Third’s body out of the building with no disturbances. Before he left, he looked once more at how his arm had been ripped off by the troublesome iron sand and happened to see the puppet arm that had been his final weapon to poison the Kazekage. He had an idea, one that would further strengthen him in combat. It was genius and he would definitely begin immediately making plans for this to take effect. His theory was that people naturally fatigue when fighting, become weaker with age and can be slowed by pain-but a puppet bypasses all of this. If he made himself into a puppet, he could hide weapons anywhere on himself and change it continually, he could fight without tiring, he would never age and he could never, ever feel pain.
It was no trouble getting the Third’s body out, Sasori snuck behind the puppet Hiruko who needed to ignore people talking to him throughout the building. When he got outside the city, he went back to his secret cave where he had trained so vigorously for so many years. He wondered when he would be approached by Orochimaru. As if on cue, he felt his presence at that moment. He looked over to see that the cave seemed to darken and an eerie sense filled the already dark cave. Orochimaru had a wide smile on his face, he was definitely pleased. “You have surprised me Sasori, even I didn’t think you were capable of something as big as this, you definitely deserve to be one of us.” Sasori looked at the outfit he would wear and the status this would give him, “So what is the name of this organisation?” Sasori asked. Orochimaru laughed, “We have a long walk ahead of us, why don’t we use the questions to fill in time.” Sasori nodded and followed him out of the dave and away from Sunakagure. He never said goodbye to his grandparents, but it didn’t bother him. He couldn’t help but feel this organisation was his calling and he was going to make the best of it.
