  Inspiration has a funny way of occuring, doesn't it.
  The imagery in this is great, and the emotions are really deep.

  This is a pretty good dark piece. I like the use of the two sentence stanza to break up the pacing. And the repetition of the title phrase was pretty good and haunting.
  
  It feels a bit moralistic with the suicide at the end, but I think you might have been aiming for that.
