Story status: As of 1/21/2014, I have the next 11k words written, plus other stuff further in the future. The story isn't dead and I'm not dead. I just haven't made space in my life to write much lately. Encouraging reviews would probably help with that. :P

"Circaea" is the genus name for a plant used by Circe to turn men into pigs. I could say it has something to do with her being on the chocolate frog cards, but actually the plant produces burs and I have spent a lot of time pulling them out of my socks over the years. I guess it's sort of botanical Stockholm syndrome. This is also a dead give-away if you know me IRL.

If you think you know me in life, go ahead and read this, but just don't say anything to me about it. Okay? That seems like a fair deal, right?

The warnings are all for real, though. There's some explicit stuff in there, but mostly not until chapter 42. Hey, it's fanfic, so I'm morally obligated to have at least something in there to horrify everyone, right? Anyway, I'm trying.
