I write mostly original fictions. Some of the stuff I do pull from my life, and some of it is completely original. I also make CGI movies for some of my fictions. They aren't all that great but I'm getting better and better at it.
You will notice that I do sometimes use the same character name in different stories. However if you notice the character will act nearly identical to itself regardless of what series it is currently in. This adds a unique perspective to the stories. It can be a bit confusing if you jump from story to story, but try to keep up ;D
