Oh no! What a horrible situation!
I wonder how much of this is Voldemort's fault and how much of this is Harry's nature working against him. The boy has always been melencholy; is the fifth and sixth books he has demonstrated behaviour traits that could be interpreted as manic depressive (long periods of lethargy intersperced with periods of frantic activity). Depressives have to be carefully watched as they can become self-destructive during their 'ups' and during their 'lows' they can just simply... stop, as seems to have happened here.
In any case, it is clear that, without extreme care and help from his friends and allies, Harry is pretty much a dead man waiting to happen.
Interested to see what happens next.
