Oooh! Nice chapter. The interaction between Sabin and Shadow was cute. I really like how you made them less-than-godlike and reduced their abilities to match their sobriety/hangovers. And I love the time estimates for the flight. What's nigh-instantaneous in game mechanics is not necessarily so in reality. :)
Edgar has trained his guards well. Maybe that's why he hasn't had a bunch of ladies get in a big cat-fight over him yet. ^_~
I'm enjoying how Locke's story is playing out, and will enjoy seeing what comes next. Great chapter!
