Although this is a well-written little scene, it doesn't show much that could only have happened in Doctor Who. In fact, the vibe I get from 'him' and 'her', feels a lot more romantic than much of the whole series is; the only place I could semi-comfortably fit this in Doctor Who is in the new series, because that is more overtly romantic.
Again, this could also work very well in a different context or possibly a larger fic.
