I'd say that both Draco and Tom are finding out that there -really- are worse things than dying, much worse. I have to admit that Ginny's revenge was appropriate and fitting and I love that she used a muggle marker as part of it, a nice creative touch on her part. As for what Harry did to Tom, well it seems just and fitting that he spend the rest of his immortal life in such conditions, I'd even go so far as to say it strikes me as one hell of a good idea.
