Well, you worked so hard in keeping it different from canon and justifying Harry being sorted into Gryffindor that I can't really dislike it. It's a shame how limiting it can be, but I now have a lot more faith that you'll be careful to keep things contrary to canon. I think my main problem with the usual trio friendship is just that it's not only been done by JKR, but by nearly every author to do an AU or time travel story. Precious few authors think outside of the box, but I think you're one of the few. Only time will tell, though, so I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
