That was a truly enjoyable read. Thank you. I normally prefer Snape darker than what you have portrayed here. But then I thought about it and decided that I like this Snape. He's still generally disagreable, but not a total jackass when allowed to pursue his own passions on his own terms. Something I think most people dream of, but few are able to achieve.
