"I’ve seen his nightmares. Horrible things, like nothing I’ve ever seen or imagined." -- given what a nightmare this alternate reality is and what Luna has experienced (making her so different), that is saying something.
I like so far, but I am disheartened somewhat that Harry didn't bring his magic-absorbing power with him. :)
I like how Luna "debones" Snape.
Hermione's attitude is very understandable, having been abused and raped. But she changes tune a bit fast -- just because Susan slaps her?
Author's response
Yeah, I wrote that before I had fully plotted out just how screwed up this reality was... Still, it's a good sympathy evoking line.
If he had, the story would have been so much shorter. Like three chapters.
Finally. Almost no one commented on Snapes demise.
Her tune didn't change. Hermione is a damaged soul, but basically a thoughtful person. It wasn't that Susan slapped her, but his reaction to what she said. She knows she owes him her life, but reacts badly to what he does.
