Quite an interesting fform of execution, painless yet torturous at the same time. I wonder if you will spend any time on Vernon's attempts to remain awake, assuming of course that he believes any of that twaddle.
What I really like in this story so far is the insight into Remus's personality. He is a pack animal, that explains why he followed Dumbledore so strongly that he ignored Harry, he took DD as his Alpha and in most packs a new Alpha kills the young born to the old Alpha to start his own line.
Really nicely done.
