The Doctor is in the house. You’ve done an excellent job of world-building, as always; likeable, sympathetic characters in the ancient ones and a satisfying karmic justice for the Dursleys.
At some point will Harry be saying “Hey Moe!”?
Now if we can just find the other Horowitz brother and Mister Feinberg. . .
Continuing the LOTR references, I see a Galadriel-like quality in the “Old Ones,” I wouldn’t be a bit surprised to see each of them giving Harry a parting gift, to help him in his quest.

Of course Harry gets a ring, a Deathy Hallow, in fact! Dudley gets stuck at Marge's, so I didn't bother mentioning that. Petunia will deliberately cause trouble any time she comes up for parole, and will therefore stay in prison just over 15 years.
