Good to see that Harry's not falling down the pit of being Ron's friend.

I've always thought that he'd have done much better without Ron's rather negative influence, especially since Ron never did all that much anyways, except for play chess. (PS: panic and play chess. CoS: get him in trouble with the car, break his wand. PoA: He didn't join the time turner exhibition. GoF: Jealous git. etc)

Thanks for commenting! I think Ron's world is very black & white, especially in the early years that it would have been hard for my story's Harry to cultivate the unique group of friends if Ron was an integral part. He has his merits but I find the interaction between Ron & Hermione as the best part of the characters to be included into my story whenever they pop up here and there.
