first off: wonderful chapter
very descriptive and a joy to read

second: personally, if i were u, i wouldnt be worried one bit about stealing any ideas from eragon (even though you have made it plain that you havent)considering that the amount of plagiarism present in those books is catastrophic.
i was horrified when reading and watching the movies as to the amount of concepts and scenes i recognized from some of my favourite authors. as such i dont think you should worry at all

query though; as harry can become a dragon all by himself what use will he have of one of his own?

update soon

Author's response

Thank you.

Fair point, but if I had written that chapter and not added the note at the end I would have had lots of people emailing me saying, is this a 3 way crossover, you stole that from eragon and various other complaints, plus the fact that I was very proud of the idea when I first came up with it and although I love the eragon stories it annoyed me that my idea looked like a rip off of another authors work.

Yes Harry can become a dragon but 2 things I will point out are, 1. he is a Chinese dragon which is (by dragon standards) very small, barely 30 feet (I think thats what I decided on) in length and not even five foot wide, he is more like a snake with legs.

Secondly, not everyone knows he can become a dragon and having Harry Potter on the battlefield is much easier to write than Harry Potter as a dragon. Having an actual dragon on the battlefield is easier to write about in the third person.

I hope that answers your question.

Keep reading and reviewing
