It's a little abrupt, a little jarring, but I love the idea of being able to extract testimony from Dementors. The introduction of Blaise as a confidant was very jarring, but with a little smoother transitioning, it would've been a MUCH better "salute" against the Wizarding world. After six books of the adults acting like fourth-graders, I thoroughly enjoy MOST stories where Harry tells them off. G
