Ashe and Basch have a complicated relationship, to be sure. I enjoyed your portrayal of both characters: Basch's guilt and Ashe's hardened resolve. The mention of Vossler's death was sad, too. I liked Ashe's lines to him at the end. I hope Basch can learn to forgive himself.
