It seems to me that Tony Stark is as incapable of raising a snob little rich boy as Harry is unable to do anything but bloom with such a father. It honestly seemed so in character to me for the Dursleys to watch Dudders destroy them while cheering that I overlooked the Heinlein. I'm so saddened that he's becoming harder and harder to find in bookstores, it's like they are phasing out good Sci Fi for grocery store Sci Fi.
And, naturally Harry is dependent on his tech suit, it's a fabulous tool that his Dad gave him. Too dependent? like too dependent on a toothbrush?
I'm very intrigued by the impact of the Chaos Magic and the other diciplines on the JKR verse. Thanks again!
Author's response
- All of the Grand Masters works are available on Amazon... (Though I would skip the recently discovered 'first novel' that came out a few years ago. Evidently editors are right on occasion.
- Actually Dad didn't give it to him, Harry kind of swiped the parts from a prototype armor at the age of nine after leading Hank McCoy and Simon Williams on a chase through Stark Mansion (Babysitting? How hard could that be?) only to be kidnapped by Whiplash...
- He was allowed to keep it when Whiplash begged to be arrested. It will be a Ransom of Red Chief homage.
