An interesting and more realistic version of the fight with the troll (or as realistic as something like that could be, anyway). I always found it odd that the troll was taken out so easily; blowing it up with a box of fireworks was a bit more believable method of victory.
That aside... Hmm? Is that a little R/Hr romance I see emerging. At least Ron in this story isn't the complete... moron that he is in canon.
Overall, a worthwhile read after a long absence. Go you!
