A very interesting start. I severely doubt that Harry is going to be able to survive 10 years of that without breaking down and what gets built from those ruins may be nothing at all like Fudge, Lucius, or Albus ever intended or wanted.
I wonder how Hedwig is going to take what's happening to Harry and if Hermione will fathom what's gone down from that reaction? It could be rather interesting if she's the only one insisting something bad happened to Harry and is shunned, ignored, etc. for sticking to it. Somehow, I doubt that Dumbles would exert that much influence to save Harry, even if he did find out what happened after the fact. Of course, this now leaves things open for Tommy-boy and I wonder how Fudge will take it when he shows up and takes over? Especially if he finds out that he did Tom's dirty work for him?

Hmm... Have you been reading over my shoulder as I type my future chapter notes? ;)
You're close, but I have a few more twists to throw in to the mix. Chapter three will shadow some things to come, but I want to take this slowly. Build up to a believable and satisfactory end.
Thank you for your input!
