Review for Alchemical Reactions

Alchemical Reactions

This is a wonderful, unique look at what HP life could have been like if not at the Dursleys. What is so unique with your story is that he was still hit with so much tragedy, especially so young that by the time he is saved it is almost to late, he is so emotionally closed up.

Yet it goes to show that not being beaten down in his formative years he has the backbone to stand up to his situation. Love how Snape connected with him almost at once, as if instinctually knowing they had similar backgrounds. Although it does beg the question why no one (Flamel) ever sends him to counseling for the lack of emotional commitment.

One question, is Dumbledore suppose to come off as really evil or just highly manipulative and power hungry? Because I have to tell you he is coming off as evil, almost another Dark Lord.

Can't wait for more of this delightful story. Thanks

Hi there! Thanks for the lovely review!^^

To answer your question, Dumbledore is supposed to come off as a bit of both--manipulative and evil. However, there are decent reasons why he's evil, which will come into light much later in the fic.

Anyways, thanks for taking the time to review!
