ohh, a nice chapter. It's interesting to see things developing 'tween Harry & Hermione, despite both of them being determined otherwise. I did like the bit with Narcissa and Bellatrix and I do hope that the crazy one gets the help she needs. I like the taking care of Quirrell, that should simplify some things, as should the incapacitation of Lockheart. The train trip was rather fun, esp. seeing Ron brushed aside so easily and quickly - and with good reason; I wonder if this Ron will learn to think for himself? I love the idea of Dobby in a pinstripe suit as one of his Family's enforcers and I figure that should make life "interesting" for all concerned. The sorting hat bit was pure evil, forcibly de-fanging Draco and making Ron's arguements a bit more difficult for him to make (you have to wonder what his family will think). On the other hand, the collaboration with the Weasley twins should bear interesting fruit.
Finally, that's a nice mini-cliffie at the end and I can't think of folk I'd less like to see out of there, esp. if they're working together. I wonder if Bellatrix set it up for Tommy-boy?
