Yeah...you seem to like putting hermione with assholes or in a bad situation. I guess that's your perogative but it is just so wrong on so many levels and i've not met any women who was as grounded as hermione fall for a guy like ron(total assole) and please don't cite canon even hardcote r/hr shippers agree JKR writes romance like a bad soap opera teenage show love somehow equates hate. Overall i'd say this story is a wash if hermione stays with ron and you do not explain the back story of the situation.

- In my view, the canon Ron is not a 'total asshole'. He is judgemental, immature, a bit of a jerk, and jealous to a fault, but that's pretty much being a teenager.
- Ignoring the horror that was DH, when push came to shove, Ron had Harry's back.
- In short, from my POV, Ron is a good guy. Does he deserve Hermione? No. A woman of that quality deserves so much better than any teen male, including Harry. But the Heart wants what it wants, and the body wants what it wants. Unfortunately the heart and body don't always agree.
