What a great chapter! The grief that May and Charlie felt at Gigi's loss was so clear, and then the scenes with Orcus! Your writing was so detailed...... the care you have taken with this story is fantastic! And that final moment when Orcus flames them and May kisses Charlie.....that is one of the best cliffhangers that I have ever read! As always you have written a chapter that is magical in both the small details of the characters' lives and in their relationship to the world around them. As always, take my thanks for your story, you truly have a gift with words!

So many things developed as I wrote this chapter. I had wanted to end the story with this one, but I knew I was in trouble when I hit 8000 words.
I do like the details, and the nuances. I actually mapped out the entire cave to help keep track of their positions and the action.
One more chapter left!! I swear (smile)
