Original story, I haven't seen any crossovers set before the Cylon attack.
And as the Goukld do not outnumber them as much as usual to make it a fairer fight, I'd say you picked the perfect timing for this fic from both sides
It should (allow you to) give us a more in-dept view of the Colonial society as well as showing more detailed how the Gould get people to worship them.
And I'm curious which side the humanoid Cylon spies inside the fleet will choose, as unlike the robots they are vonerable to this enemy.
Your original characters are decent, but so far they outnumber the canon charaters in too large numbers -
While I understand why (you could't start with destroying Galactica), with the Goaul-ding of Lee they are too rare.
[From your discription I understood that is was more then just set in the SG-universe, and that they would actually meet SG1/SGA characters. ]
About Lee, it was nice to see him on a different ship. But host overcoming their Gould was rare up to impossible on the show, and while thise inner-mind fights could be interesting, they are hard to keep convincing for a longer time.
Still, it should give some nice drama for Adama Senior.
So it is too early to say if I like the story yet, but so far I would like to see more of it.
