Harry Potter and the Marriage Contracts

I find it interesting (and somewhat refreshing) that Ron is not a bad guy in this story in anyway in regards to Harry's falling out with his family. I have been reading some of the theories regarding the cause of the falling out and I find them all interesting.

My best guess with the Weasley's is that they were used to mold Harry in a certain way and their efforts failed. My guess is that Harry caught wind of this manipulation (it's possible that something Ginny did was the straw that broke the camel's back) and confronted them on what happened.

I do look forward to Harry rejecting Ginny, though. It is my hope that this rejection occurs in a very public and humiliating fashion. I want to see the bitch humiliated for breaking up The Trio.

I am glad that Snape is dead. My only two complaints about how he died is that Harry didn't get to lay the killing blow directly and that his death was not agonizing enough. While having his life force and majic drained out of him via his mark by an expiring Voldemort must be unpleasant, his death could have been made a lot worse. If anyone deserves a slow, agonizing drawn out death it is Snivellous.

Author's response

- I've whaled on Ron in too many of my fics recently. It was time for him to not be evil. Which isn't to say he won't be an ass...

- Pretty much.

- Harry intends to be a gentleman about it as he assured Fred... Of course Ginny does tend to be a psychotic little bitch at times...

- In the original intent where I wasn't going to discuss the final battle and didn't want to explain the falling out, I didn't want to have to deal with Snape to conflict with Harry's new and improved mellow just enjoying life world view. If I had anticipated the demands for the back story I might have kept him around, though I don't know how because having the Mark deal with the remaining DEs was/is a fairly major plot point...
