Nice. This is an interesting post-Voldemort fic. I like the characterization and development. The tentative start of Harry and Daphne's relationship is nicely paced with no sense of being forced or love at first sight.
While I do want to know something of what happened to Harry and the Weaslwy's and Dunmbledore, and in the last battle, doing a series of flashbacks would probably work better than trying to do one long back story. I do like the idea of Hawks for the running gag if you can work it in, especially if they swallow increasingly implausible scenarios.
Can't wait for the next chapter.

- I will be revealing the Weasley/Remus/Dumbles saga via flashbacks. The final battle on the other hand will NOT be explained. (Though I am going to have Dumbles keep asking and keep getting BS that he buys into, forcing Harry to pay Neville.)
