Harry Potter and the Marriage Contracts

I, er, had fun on your date... right up to the end, actually. Harry shouldn't give a crap about what Tracey thinks, and what is this 'baggage' of which you speak? Rather, what baggage that won't be there in a week or in a month, or whenever.

I can understand Harry not wanting to rush it (are they both virgins?), but that's not what he said. The Harry in my head goes into her room, and does some serious snogging and some light petting before deciding that he doesn't want to go so far so fast that the relationship doesn't get real roots.

Well... that was easier than talking about what I really did like, which was just about everything. Nev's a good friend.

My next unlikely Voldy death--Harry got a dementor to kiss his scar. (Of course, now he has a link with them.)

Author's response

- Excepting of course the knowledge that Daphne and Tracey are a package deal. If he wants to make an attempt at a real relationship, what Tracey thinks matters quite a bit.

- What baggage? Well, Daphne is Buzzing. He's shown her one of the better times of her life, apparated her from one side of the country to another, gotten a few drinks into her and she's frisky. How will she feel about that in the morning? That is the baggage that might be there if they decide to make a go of it.

- Harry is. Daphne probably is. The Harry in my head isn't going to start anything he isn't sure he wants to finish.

- Nev's an all around good guy.
