Review for Breathing Dust and Desperation

Breathing Dust and Desperation

I think I'll be a cheapskate and review both chapters at once. There is a thing like too much lace.
The gritty snapshot in the first chapter might be cliché, but clichés come into being for a reason. Just ask Shakespeare. Her thoughts on pointless death were great and very realistic, lending a sense of touch and smell to the image, just like the blurry image, fading to red and redder as she loses sight of what matters in the foyer of death. The image presented by the second chapter tells me that she might have left the foyer, but she did take a card. Apparently, she didn't learn Death's lesson to the visitors: Courage in life. Must be hard on such a brilliant mind to be able to imagine What-if's that normal people just wouldn't see.

Oh, and if a closet-door is jammed, they usually respond to a swift kick. If they don't, well, there are other clothes.

Thanks for the lovely review. Speaking of lace, have you finished the first chapter of that story you were talking about writing in that style?

Yeah, I'm about ready to just kick her ass and MAKE her come out. God, I hate getting wobbly-kneed over closeted girls. Great job taking the metaphor a bit further, by the way. ^-^
