An interesting idea. The downside of this story is Rose came across a bit Mary Sue-ish - Perfect and with all the answers. However, if you accept the possibility that she is still Bad Wolf, then she does know everything. Another problem is that I would have expected Jack to at least broach the possibility of Rose taking away his curse. Once he got over his shock, that is.
On the upside, you perfectly grasped the character of Jack. He likes to play tough, but he is a very vulnerable man underneath and would react as strongly as that to seeing Rose again.
I would have liked to have seen Rose (or the Doctor) remind Jack of all the good that he has done and ask him whether it really is a curse after all. I'd also love to see a Rose/Gwen conversation as they bemoan the absolute blindness and stupidity of their respective other halves when it comes to female emotions.
My nitpicking aside, this was a nice short. It is always good to read half-way decent Doctor Who stories.
