i really love this story...i think that it was (and still is...stupid past tense verb! ~glares~) a very...heart wrenching...but incredibly down-to-earth story. i'm deathly in love with it.
so how does it feel to know that someone's kid in the heart of america ~ has blood on their hands ~ fighting to defend your rights so you can maintain the lifestyle that insults his family's existance? ~ well, where i'm from, we have a special salute we aim high in the air towards all those pompous assholes who spend their days pointing fingers ~ (fuck you!)

i liked the ending...no matter how depressing this story is.
i think that you touched a lot of people who both had, and didn't have loved ones/friends/family/etc. in the war...very deeply. it's nice to know that there are people there who support the soldiers and their family who are fighting.
