I liked this chapter a lot! It was sorta surprising how snappy Gee and Egan became, their relationship is moving fast. I'm not sure in which direction but it's moving.
I like Frankie's relationship with both of them.
I could see both sides, like Gerard not wanting to be seen at his worst. I can relate, I've been there, you feel like dying and you don't want anyone to see you at your worst cause no one want to be that vulnerable.
I also understand Frankie's hurt that his friend shut him out.
You made it real and they still sounded like guys...I have this thing when guys express their feelings in stories they sound cheesy to me but in this one they didn't.
Great chapter!
Author's response
It's good that you understand. There's not much point in a literary work if it can't relate to your life or touch you somehow. If it's just something you read and forget about and never have a moment where you say "Hey! Yeah! I get that!" then it's empty words.
Thank you. I wasn't sure at all about this chapter. Usually when I write its like BING! And I know it's ready. Like a microwave. But with this I just wasn't sure. My writing the past couple of days has been off, I feel like. Thank you for your continued support.
