It's not immediately apparent that this is takign place in Kagome's bedroom. Maybe play up the blankets vs. sleeping bag angle.
The introspective portion is insightful but it's nothing new.
"even better than his daydreams of kicking Naraku's ass into Hell."
Hehehehehe! I can see Inuyasha thinking of kissing in those terms.
Eh? Kagome's actions seem a bit illogical, even by her reckonings.
This is a good story for a quiet mind.

Thank you very much for the wonderful and insightful review! This was one of the first IY stories I ever wrote, way back in 2003. Writing them was still very new then, so I was having a harder time dealing with the characterization of Kagome and a few others. Thank you for the insight and it's stuff I will keep in mind as I start to dabble back into writing Inuyasha.
