Nice touches, here, with a comparatively sedate chapter that binds Hermione and Harry closer together, yet, as well as binding them to the Hawaiian Islands (I can see them eventually moving there). Sigh!! You have to feel sorry for Paul, he just can't get away from that nasty cognivore and I suspect that's going to make life "interesting" if/when Hermione returns to the place she shared with Ron for so long. If a controlled-Paul attacks this time, I rather suspect the cognivore is going to be in for a very nasty surprise. 'Twill be interesting to see if the rogue cognivore is captured and appropriately dealt with (I'd interrogate it completely, if I could, and then shove it through the Veil).
